Refund policy

Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

We hope you are completely happy with your purchase from Grip N Rip. However, we understand that sometimes you may change your mind or need to return an item.

This policy applies to purchases made through our online shop and is intended to complement, not replace, your rights under UK consumer law.

Changing Your Mind

If you purchase an item online, you generally have the right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to certain exceptions set out below.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling, although we may ask for feedback to help us improve our products and service.

To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel.

Returning Your Items

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order, you must return the goods to us within14 days.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or we have agreed otherwise, you will be responsible for the cost of returning it.

We strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage or using a tracked service when returning an item. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and during the return process.

Please ensure that returned items are securely packaged to help prevent damage in transit.

Condition of Returned Goods

You are entitled to inspect your purchase in much the same way as you would be able to examine it in a physical shop.

Returned goods should, wherever possible, be returned in their original condition with their original packaging, labels and any accessories supplied.

We reserve the right to reduce the amount refunded where the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Refunds

If you exercise your legal right to cancel, we will refund the amount due to you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Where you cancel your entire order within the applicable cancellation period, your refund will include the price paid for the goods and the cost of our standard delivery option.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, such as express or next-day delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.

We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having returned them.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed. You will not be charged a fee for receiving your refund.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, not as described or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide your order details and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue so that we can deal with your enquiry efficiently.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within30 days, as well as further rights to repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and how long they have owned the goods.

Where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, Grip N Rip will cover reasonable return costs where required.

Cancelling Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make every effort to stop the order before it leaves us. However, if your order has already been dispatched, you may need to wait until it arrives and return it in accordance with this policy.

Items That Cannot Be Returned Because You Have Changed Your Mind

Certain products may be exempt from the usual right to cancel under UK consumer law.

This may include:

  • goods that have been personalised, customised or made to your specifications; and
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.

Where a product is excluded from the standard cancellation rights, we will make this clear where appropriate.

These exclusions relate to change-of-mind returns only and do not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us. Exchanges are subject to availability.

In some circumstances, we may ask you to return the original item for a refund and place a new order rather than processing a direct exchange.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Proof of Purchase

We may ask you to provide your order number, order confirmation or another reasonable form of proof of purchase when requesting a return, exchange or refund.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.

Your purchases are protected by applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
